Multisexual Dance Experience

Night Gallery presents: The Multisexual Dance Experience

The Loft, Amsterdam · Doors 20:30 · Curfew 05:00

The Multisexual Dance Experience is a programming format Multisex developed for Amsterdam Art Week, running from evening into night at its partner venue The Loft. Live performances open the programme and move between classical and electronic music, dance and voice, from a piano hybrid with synthesizers and vocals to staged performance. The closing DJ set, usually one six-hour arc, is reworked into three parts with a shifting rhythm.

The night is conceived as a Gesamtkunstwerk. At its centre is BIOTOPE, a site-specific installation by an Amsterdam-based collective that plays with and mirrors an image-driven culture, building worlds the audience enters and negotiates for itself. The work is ongoing research into the dialogue between the natural and the artificial: layers drift, turn and meet, forming temporary landscapes that dissolve as new relationships emerge, while rhythm, texture and melodic traces leave room for calm, friction and surprise.

A full night of sound, movement and intention.

As usual, we celebrate this night with Multisexual Dance Music!

The programme stays unannounced. You are the party.
